NISSAN has updated the Patrol Wagon range and added an intercooled 4.2L turbo-diesel for the 2003 model year.

The revised power plant improves engine efficiency and performance with the addition of the intercooler and an electronic timing control for the fuel pump. In addition to the engine modification, the radiator from the 4.8L petrol Patrol has been fitted. This has increased the torque output while retaining the same power output.

Other changes for the 2003 model include a revised interior trim and minor specification changes, including the inclusion of a limited slip differential on the Patrol Ti model and the introduction of an automatic transmission on the ZD30 DX Patrol. – Nissan.
