THE CASH and prize purses of the Quintrex BREAM and the Yamaha BASS Pro series are bulging at the seams, with over $150,000 and $100,000 respectively on offer for the coming year.
The Quintrex BREAM series sees a range of prizes on offer from sponsors as diverse as Special Trailers, Club Marine, Evinrude, and Mercury. The variety extends to tackle, clothing and many other products from well-known names like Shimano, Berkley, Ecogear, Mojo, and Go-So. Other sponsors of note include Halco, Strudwick, Gladiator, Rapala, and of course Daiwa and Compleat Angler.
The Yamaha BASS Pro is just as hot when it comes to cash and prizes. Blue Fin Boats is one of the newest and biggest to get involved and, combined with Yamaha and MotorGuide, is contributing an excellent prize boat package. Bassman is again contributing a range of great prizes and this year it’s joined by Ecogear and Kokoda. Rod manufactures are admirably represented by Scott, Angler and Innovator fishing rods, with a range of non-tackle prizes from companies such as EvaKool and Solas.
The expansion of the BASS Electric Series and the introduction of the Electric Convention see MotorGuide take the helm as naming sponsor of the event, with the MotorGuide Bass Electric Convention.
2004 is going to be the hottest year yet for sponsors and prizes, so if you want to get amongst them contact Simon Goldsmith on (07) 3268 2992 for entry information. - ABTReads: 371
