The Boonah Social Fishing Club wrapped up their 2008 calendar with the annual Blue Fox and Steve Casalegno Memorial Fishing Competition.
Held at Moogerah Dam many club members flocked to the lake on Friday and Saturday to take part in the fishing and the stocking of fingerlings.
Although the weather was not ideal for fishing, plenty of fish were still caught (mainly by the Harding family) and everyone enjoyed the couple of days at Moogerah.
This year a host of sponsors jumped on board to make this a memorable event that culminated in the release of thousands of fingerling bass, ensuring the club and others can enjoy fishing this great waterway for years to come. – BSFC
