Volkswagen has now increased the tow ball down weight of the Touareg from 140kg to 350kg.

This increase, in conjunction with the maximum towing capacity of 3500kg (with brakes) and the choice of either 3.2 V6, 2.5 TDI, 4.2 V8 and 5.0 V10 engines, now allows the Volkswagen Touareg to perform the most challenging of towing tasks.
