THE BOONDOOMA Dam Yellowbelly Fishing Competition, to be held on February 14-15 2004, is offering a stack of prizes in both the senior and junior categories.

Junior anglers will compete for prizes donated by Burnett Off Road and Great Outdoors Centre, and the winners of the heaviest golden perch and bass will also receive trophies donated by Hanwood Fish Farm.

In the adult section the prize money and runner-up prizes donated by Allround Angler will be awarded at each of the three weigh-ins for the heaviest golden perch, bass, silver perch, jew and spangled perch. The overall winner of the heaviest bass will receive prize money from the Pioneer Permanent Building Society and a trophy. The winner of the heaviest golden perch will receive a Humminbird sounder from Buccaneers.

All competitors will be eligible for numerous lucky draws, including an EvaKool ice box, Minn Kota electric motor, generator and a selection of camping equipment. All adult competitors who weigh in fish will qualify for major prize money.
