Stessl Family Bass Challenge – Final Round

THE LAST round of the 2002 Stessl Family Bass Challenge was held at Somerset Dam over the weekend of November 9-10.

71 anglers competed over the weekend, catching a total of 270 fish over the two days. David Green won the final round, scoring a MinnKota electric motor for his efforts. However, this couldn’t put him ahead of Gavin Dunne - the overall highest point scorer for the 2002 series, who took home a 3.7m Stessl Edgetracker Vagabond with Yamaha outboard. Nathan Payne was the junior winner for the series, taking home a 3.4m Vagabond-Yamaha package. Nathan also won a MinnKota for being the junior winner for the final round..
