The Mooloolaba Game Fishing Club is holding the Viking Yachts Billfish Bash over the weekend of 25-27 November 2005.

The tournament is a light tackle (8kg only), tag and release event primarily targeting billfish. In previous years the event has attracted up to 35 game boats to fish the weekend and enjoy all the fantastic prizes available. Entry is open to all QGFA and GFAA members and membership will be available to those who are not current members. Entry to the tournament is $160.00 for seniors and $80.00 for junior anglers, which includes Friday night snacks at the briefing, Saturday night dinner and Sunday presentation dinner. There are also tournament shirts and boat bags that are full of goodies for competitors.
