Aussie Fishing Park Barra Classic
  |  First Published: November 2003

THE POPULAR Aussie Fishing Park at Bli Bli is running its biggest ever public tournament on 6 December 2003 between 9am and 4pm.

In conjunction with the Reed Charity Foundation (in aid of Ronald Macdonald House), Aussie Fishing Park is giving away over $20,000 in prizes, with every angler fishing on the day receiving a prize. But the biggest drawcard is the $10,000 tagged barra, a big fish brought in especially for the tournament.

During the day food and drink will be available and visitors and competitors can view live barra in the Super Tank. With an entry fee of only $40 for adults and $20 for kids, this tournament is not only for serious anglers but a great opportunity for the family to get out and do a bit of fishing in safety and with the chance to take home some sensational prizes. All money raised goes straight to the Reed Charity Foundation to help out Ronald Macdonald House.

For those interested in coming along to Aussie Fishing Park’s Barra Classic, contact them on (07) 5448 7514 or visit them at 325 David Low Way, Bli Bli for a day you’ll never forget. – AFP
