Isisford Fishing Competition

Southern Cross Television and The Isisford Shire 2006 Fishing Competition is being held at the Oma Waterhole on the weekend of July 29 and 30.

With adult and junior prize categories, there’ll be plenty on offer for anglers keen to catch a yellowbelly, catfish or bream (silver perch). There’ll be a major prize draw for the junior and adult section and the winner must be present at the draw to take the cash and prizes home.

Live entertainment will be provided by Cathy Drummond and the licensed bar will be open until late. Free camping is available, while raffles and BBQs will be a feature. Special guest Scott Hillier from 7’s Creek to Coast will be there throughout the weekend maybe the junior’s can get a free fishing lesson.
