If you’re looking to purchase a new boat or upgrade your existing vessel, taking the time to get on the water and test what might be your future boat is very important.
Queensland Powerboats, from Loganholme south of Brisbane, has started a series of on-water days where customers can get into different boats, take them for a run and get a feel for what they’ll be getting for their money.
“Water tests are an important part of a customer’s purchase,” said director Jim Grisanti. “On our on-water testing days customers can compare a 4.8m centre console with a 5.2m centre console. They can fully understand and appreciate the difference in cost and can make a much more informed decision about which boat will suit their needs and their budget.”
The first day was held on the Gold Coast in late April and there are more on-water testing days planned throughout the coming months.
If you’re looking at stepping into a Razerline, Caribbean or Formosa boat powered by a Honda outboard, give the boys at Queensland Powerboats a call on (07) 3801 1733 to find out when their next testing day is. You’ll be glad you went; stepping into a variety of boats definitely helps make the buying decision easier. – Travis DaviesReads: 641
