Fishing Comp for Kids Charity
  |  First Published: November 2007

The Greenvale Sport & Game Fishing Club Inc (GSGFC), in association with the Hobsons Bay Angling Club, are proud to be organising the Camp Quality Snapper Competition.

This tournament is taking place on November 18 at Altona. The target species for the competition is snapper, which must be caught in Port Phillip Bay. It is a great chance to have fun fishing while helping to raise money for a very worthy charity. Camp Quality is a non-profit organisation that is committed to bringing hope and happiness to every child living with cancer, their families and communities.

The competition is open to everyone, with both Open and Junior categories as well as a Catch and Release section. The minimum size of fish accepted at the weigh-in is 38cm. There is also a limit of three fish per angler to be brought to the weigh-in area.

For more information about the competition, including rules and regulations and an entry form, email John Mihai at --e-mail address hidden-- or visit http://www.gsgfc.com.au – GSGFC
