2007 Yamaha Lake Hume Classic
  |  First Published: October 2007

After last year’s disappointment of cancelling the event we are back, bigger and better than ever with over $15,000 in fantastic prizes. The 20007 Yamaha Lake Hume Classic is on the weekend of November 10/11. This year’s major prize is a boat, motor and trailer package sponsored by Yamaha and Makocraft, and all registered competitors including juniors will go into a random draw for this great prize.

Also, if you enter before October 19, you will entered into the Early Bird Draw for a Minn Kota electric motor and battery. We still have the senior and junior categories for each species (with golden perch being catch and release only) as well as a teams event, but this year we have added a ladies section for seniors and juniors as well.

Registrations will be held at the Lake Hume Resort Boat Ramp on the Friday night from 4.30–8.30pm, and Saturday morning from 5.00–10.00am, and at the SS&A Club (David Street foyer) on Friday night from 4.30–8.30pm. Upon registration entrants will receive an info pack containing rules and regulations, lure, stubby holder and stickers (subject to availability). Ladies and junior entrants will receive an additional lure, supplied by Murray River Spinnerbaits and a cap. You also get a registration card that entitles you to a barbeque dinner on Saturday night, and a sausage sizzle on the Sunday for lunch at the Pit at the Lake Hume Resort. This card also will also get 4 cents/litre off any fuel purchase at the Liberty service station at the Kangaroo store at Kookaburra Point, Ebden.

For those looking for accommodation on the lake we have four resort style accommodation houses, but book early to avoid disappointment. They have everything from tent sites to 5 star villas. If you miss out, don’t worry as Albury/Wodonga has accommodation houses to suit all budgets and it’s only 10 minutes from the lake.

So, pack the boat and the family and enter the Yamaha 2007 Lake Hume Classic to give yourself a chance to win some great prizes, have a great time and meet some new friends
