The Australian Master Marine has joined together with The North Coast International Boat Show to present the River to Reef Fishing Classic.

The competition starts 12am midnight on Friday 9 November until 2pm Sunday 11 November. Registration begins from 4pm Thursday 8 November at Quad Park, Bokarina. Anglers can also pre-register early by downloading the entry form from the web site or pick up a form from the local tackle shops. Senior entry is $50 and junior entry is $10 and an early bird prize draw is on offer for entries received by 26 October 2007.

The Senior Major draw prize is an Australian Master Marine 4.5 plate aluminium CV series boat on a Belco custom trailer fitted with Suzuki Outboard. The aluminium for the prize boat is from Smorgon Steel and Aluminium.

The Junior Major draw prize is a two seater Viking Kayak fitted with electric motor and accessories from Viking Kayak and a fishing package from L. Wilson & Co.

Other prizes for the comp are quality fishing gear from L. Wilson & Co for the seniors in all species plus daily prizes for heaviest fish. Shakespeare has also supplied quality Ugly Stik gear to give away throughout the weekend.

The juniors are looked after this year by Shimano with a range of fishing gear to be given away as prizes. Many sponsors have helped the association (Sport & Leisure for the Handicapped Assoc. Inc.) with over $100,000 worth of prizes up for grabs.

Seminars and Dave Moss’s Reef Science Tank show will be happening throughout the weekend. There will also be food and drink available all weekend – including a bar.
