Castnets Australia

The Brisbane Tinnie & Tackle is here again and Castnets Australia Pty Ltd – E Z Throw Cast Nets is looking forward to attending for their third year. The E Z Throw Cast Net has been a ‘must have’ item for the recreational angler at previous shows and we cannot see why 2013 will be any different.

The E Z Throw Cast Net now comes in 5 sizes – the new 3’ drop, 6’ spread is suitable for the littlies who just love to follow Dad around and do what he is doing. There is the very popular 8’, 9’ and 10’ spread nets, which are our biggest sellers and not forgetting the 12’ spread net more suitable to the taller person.

Each monofilament net has a 10” aluminium ring, which when thrown parallel to the water creates centrifugal force opening the leadline into a perfect circle – and I might add with very little effort! Each E Z Throw Cast Net also comes with an instructional DVD and a handy carry case which fits into the side pocket of a tinnie or under the seat. Come and see us at Site 713 and we will show you how it’s done! For more info call 0417 526 550 or visit www.castnetsaustralia.com.

Cunningham’s Marine

Gold Coast boat manufacturer Bluefin Boats announces its plans to launch a fresh range of boats under its newly developed Blaze Boats brand. The boats will be unveiled at the Brisbane Tackle & Tinnie Show on March 15-17.

The company advises that there will be 11 models in the range for its launch with additional models to be added in the near future as the brand develops. Each model has been selected in the popular 4-5m range, which includes open dinghies, sportsfishing versions and runabouts.

Company owner Brad Richey explained that Blaze Boats has been in the pipeline for some time and the product will represent great value. We have taken out all of the non-essential extras to provide a no nonsense product to consumers whilst still giving them a great selection of features and factory options. The concept is to get more people into boating to enjoy some of the fantastic waterways we have in Australia, and what better way than in an Aussie made tinny.

With increased competition coming from overseas brands and the higher value of the dollar, it was essential that as an Australian manufacturer we reacted to remain competitive. We feel that we have achieved this with the new Blaze brand. Offering great locally made boats at great prices.

Each of the Blaze models has a distinct appearance utilising a new range of tools and extrusions and a unique side sheet look. Every boat has a proven design and has sensible layouts, while being practical and durable. Customers will be pleasantly surprised when they give these boats the once over.

The Blaze boats range can be seen at the Cunningham Marine Centre display at the Tackle & Tinnie show and the company is currently seeking expressions of interest for additional dealers nationally.
