The Echuca Moama RSL & Citizens Club Fishing Classic is a fantastic family weekend on the Murray River held on March 23-25, 2012. With around 22km of river to fish there has to be a spot that you can sneak into to catch a fish or two that just might win you a fantastic B/M/T package.

The weekend starts Friday with registrations from 10am till 4pm at Moama RSL and the day then moves into the massive “Fishtastic Friday” night raffle where $4,000 worth of prizes will be raffled off as well as enjoying great meal deals to suit every taste. The lucky angler draw will be at 9pm with the winner taking home a Jarvis Walker Watersnake electric motor.

Saturday, after your day on the water, it’s back at the Club where Saturday explodes into action with a $6,521 B/M/T is to be given away to one lucky angler at 9pm as well as another $5,000 of fantastic raffle prizes that are up for grabs in the Sensational Saturday night raffle.

After a few hours on the water on Sunday trying to catch that winning fish, it’s back to the Club for a gold coin donation BBQ lunch for registered anglers as well as all the presentations, which kick off at 1:30pm.

Make sure your up-to-speed with all licences, legal sizes and boating regulations for the Murray River, as you don’t want to be disqualified for not keeping to the rules and marshal boats will be out and about weighing and measuring your catch as well as checking your rig is legal.
